CAPY-Q.mesh
Sensitivity and robustness analysis of
3D scan and simulation results
What is CAPY-Q.mesh
CAPY-Q.mesh is a statistical software for the evaluation of mesh-based surface data.
CAPY-Q.mesh has a direct data interface for reading in STL (*.stl) files. This means that existing mesh-based 3D scan or simulation results can be analyzed together with an existing DoE test plan. Similar to CAPY-Q.form, the input sensitivities on the dimensional accuracy of the part can be calculated at each STL mesh node or element. The part can then be optimized using a slider, or an optimal process window can be identified through a robustness analysis.

Highlights of CAPY-Q.mesh
Universal STL import
The universal interface allows
STL files (*.stl) to be imported together with an existing
Excel DoE test plan.
3D Sensitivity analysis
Determine the geometric effects of the input parameters at each mesh node of the part.
3D Model optimization
Optimize your part by generating new geometry results based on the model in real time.
Benefits of CAPY-Q.mesh
- Universal data interface
(import of STL-files (*.stl)) - Import of surface scans
and simulation results possible
(e.g. exported from ZEISS, AutoForm,..) - Automated model creation through linear and non-linear approaches
- 3D comparison of all simulation variants
- 3D sensitivity analysis to identify
relevant inputs - 3D robustness analysis to achieve
a stable process window - 3D optimization using a slider
